What Do Teachers Want For Christmas?

It seems like every year people who know and love teachers struggle with gifts to buy them for the holidays. As an end result quirky mugs or t-shirts seem to win out along with a simple gift card. Well teacher lovers, fear gifting no more! Here are some ideas along with links to their pages on Amazon for some last minute holiday shopping!

A Daily Planner or Journal

With the teacher's school year not lasting a true year we find ourselves needing to buy a new planner midway through the year. This is annoying! Who wants to spend 30 dollars right after Christmas? Not me! A planner with plenty of room for writing in each day will be used for not only the remainder of this school year but also for the beginning of the following school year. Below are some options that can arrive in time for the big day if you use Amazon Prime!

Teaching Books!

This might seem like a lame gift at first but just wait one second before you judge too much! Books made for teachers seem to cost more than regular books, almost like a text book. Rather than makig the teacher in your life spend hundreds of dollars in books to further their career why not simply get them as a gift for Christmas? It shows that you care and put some thought and effort into your present. The books below come highly recommended for teachers of all grade levels.

Movies About Teaching

There have been so many wonderful films made that so vividly capture what teachers do on a day to day basis. So often when I am frustrated or feel the need to quit I can go back to an inspirational movie about inspirational teachers and the fire can be sparked again. Many teachers have likely seen these movies but I am willing to bet that not many have spent their hard earned cash and actually own them. All of the movies below come highly recommended and they are dirt cheap so why not get them all?!

Classroom Technology

I hesitate to put this on here because the cost is more, however, with a higher price tag also comes a larger impact on the teacher's classroom. The gifts below would make any teacher happy and appreciative, can you imagine the look on your teacher friend/spouse/significant others face when they open a set of 3 Chromebooks? Just click on the Livescribe Pen below, I dare you, it is so cool! They are a bit more expensive but hey, Christmas only comes once a year and it is for a good cause right?
